We were commissioned to develop an app to allow customers of a food brand locate places that serve that brand while they are out and about.
What Does the App Do?
- Allows users to locate and share places when they are out and about.
- Uses the user’s GPS position to retrieve nearby locations.
- Locations are displayed on a map and in a table
- Locations are categorized by type and the facilities available can be seen
- The user can rate existing locations and upload new locations
- The user can share locations with friends over email, Facebook, or Twitter.
- In addition the app allows the user to receive coupons and offers from the brand.

- Communicated with backend servers via JSON-RPC webservices
- Data stored using Core Data
- MapKit used for mapping
- Fully localized
